This page was created due to my inability to update my movie pages before I got sick of them and went delete-crazy. The solution: change the page whenever the hell I want! Hence, The Update...

"If you don't recognize this, then it's been updated!"

~Script of the Update~

Witness the Resurrection!
The long-awaited Alien: Resurrection (Alien 4) is slated for release on November 26.
Starring Sigourney Weaver and Winona Ryder.
Written by Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Speed, Toy Story)
Directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet (City of the Lost Children)

I have read the script (I wanted to wait but I just couldn't resist) and I must say it was very cool. A solid script, and teamed with the critically-acclaimed French director Jeunet, the outcome is looking extremely good. Happy Thanksgiving!!

~Trailor of the Update~
Why movie previews are called "trailors" when they both precede the movie's release, on top of being shown before another movie, I have yet to figure out...

U-Turn
Directed by Oliver Stone
Starring: Sean Penn, Jennifer Lopez, Nick Nolte, Claire Danes, Joaquin Pheonix, Powers Boothe, Billy Bob Thorton
Release Date: October 3

Called an "exercise" by Stone (that's why he's calling it "an Oliver Stone movie" instead of "an Oliver Stone film") based on the then-unpublished book "Stray Dogs" by John Ridley about a loser who's car breaks down in the town of Superior, Arizona. He gets involved with all sorts of quirky characters, from a homeless man with a dead dog to a hot-tempered teen and his girlfriend, and most notably with Grace McKenna (Lopez)...who later to stumble upon the two than her husband (Nolte). Based upon the great trailor, I wish every director did artistic exercises like this...

-The Update Pointless Trivia: The movie was originally going to be called "Stray Dogs" after the book, but famed Japanese director Akira Kurosawa still had the rights to his film, translated into English, called "Stray Dog" and fought Stone and company. Stone liked the "U-Turn" title, anyway, and changed it.

~Movie of the Update~
LA Confidential has won me over...this is a great flick destined to be at the Oscars, most likely winning one. I've seen some thrilling movies, but this one had individual SCENES that just took me over...great flick!
